So, after much flying we-ve arrived in Italia. Due to the large size of our group we are no longer staying in downtown Roma as planned but rather in Ostia, outside the city. It is on the beach but a distance outside the city itself. Most of us spent the first day exploring the city and then took in some local dining last night. We finished off the evening by buying a few bottles of wine and enjoying them on the beach as the sun set.
And that was day one.

Wow, sounds like an exciting first day, Seth. Thanks for sharing. I've been checking back to make sure you got there, although Robert said, "He must have got there. You haven't heard of any planes to Italy going down today, have you?" Keep posting!
